20261028 NAS Statement on Armed Confrontation in Kapoeta South

The National Salvation Front (NAS) has condemned the deployment of SSPDF troops with heavy weapons against Toposa youth in Nakeke, Kapoeta South, after the community rejected a Chinese company’s gold extraction. In a statement dated 28 October 2026, NAS held Governor Louis Lobong and state authorities accountable, declared the caretaker administration illegitimate and pledged solidarity with the youth.
