“Your Feedback Matters”: NAS Leadership invites public feedback following the release of its political vision for an inclusive modern South Sudan.

The leadership of the National Salvation Front (NAS), through its National Secretariat for Strategic Policy and the National Secretariat for Information, is calling on its members, supporters, and the general public to submit their comments, queries and feedback on the recently released document setting out NAS’ vision for an inclusive and prosperous modern South Sudan.

The call falls in line with NAS’ vision of a people’s revolution that, with the involvement of the people, aims at bringing about sustainable peace and transforming the world’s newest nation – South Sudan – into one that will meet all the standards and characteristics of a modern state.

The cover page of the document entitled “NAS Vision for an Inclusive Modern South Sudan – The Political Ideology of the National Salvation Front (NAS)” released on Saturday 12 June 2021, featured a prominent rising sun which was explained as signifying “South Sudan rising from the ashes and ready to face present and future challenges [as a modern state]”.

…the time is now and NAS is already leading the way to the promised land of an inclusive modern South Sudan [where] unity and prosperity shall be in abundance.

It went on to appeal to readers that “…the time is now and NAS is already leading the way to the promised land of an inclusive modern South Sudan where hunger, want, poverty and hopelessness will no longer be there, but peace, love, togetherness, hope, unity and prosperity shall be in abundance.”

Since its release last Saturday 12 June 2021, the document has been widely shared on various social media fora and downloaded from the NAS website. As such, the leadership of the NAS thought it wise to centralise the discussions and appeal to all readers of the document (and other related documents) to send their queries confidentially to policy@NasSouthSudan.com. All correspondences, the leader has emphasised, will be kept confidential.

…In as much as this living and evolving document belongs to NAS, it also belongs to you the people of South Sudan

“NAS – from its derived name – is in essence for the people and by the people. That means most of those reading the document are in a way NAS. In as much as this living and evolving document belongs to NAS, it also belongs to you the people of South Sudan. It is therefore incumbent upon all of us to strive to realise our collective aspirations to prepare and make our nation one that will join and stand equal to the rest of the nations as we, the citizens, enjoy our peace in dignity,” the leadership noted.

The dedicated email address to confidentially send feedback to is policy@NasSouthSudan.com
