In a mudslinging statement littered with lies, hate-speech and misinformation, the DRM has unknowingly implicated itself in the mysterious murder of Gen Saki James Palaoko, a former NAS commander who was gunned down in the Democratic Republic of Congo while on a DRM-sponsored mission to attack NAS forces.

According to their own admission, and contrary to previous claims, DRM had been in close communications with the late, facilitating his mission and arrangements to attack NAS forces until the last moments when the general was temporarily arrested in Congo, released and subsequently murdered.

“Whatever then transpired in DRC that led to the general’s arrest, release and subsequent death is a mystery only known to the DRM as his mission was supported by them [DRM]…”, said NAS Spokesperson Suba Samuel in a press statement issued today February 16.

Similarly, in his latest NAS Guwa Show aired February 15, 2021, on NAS Radio, Baba Joshua hinted that the leadership of DRM had promised the late the position of Chief of General Staff if he resigned from NAS and executed their malicious plans against NAS. However, after the murdered general received the support and logistics from DRM, a major disagreement between the leader of DRM and Gen Saki ensued that might have kicked out the series of events leading to his subsequent murder.

Meanwhile, Mr Suba Samuel has urged members and supporters of NAS, and the general public to ignore and “treat with the contempt that they deserve” the rambling propaganda by DRM accusing NAS of involvement in the death of the Gen. Saki James Palaoko along with all their other lies and misinformation.

“The rambling statement is littered with habitual lies, hate and misinformation is mere mudslinging and baseless lied devoid of evidence, but aimed to sow division and ethnic hatred. NAS urges its members to ignore them and treat them with the contempt that they deserve.

“NAS urges its members to remain focussed and vigilant against lies aimed at setting the people of Sudan on the course of ethnic fights than a concerted struggle for freedom, justice, Rule of Law and restoration of the dignity of the people.

“NAS further urges its members to concentrate on their national revolutionary responsibilities and ignore the cheap propaganda of groups such as the DRM”, concluded the statement.
