Our goal is to work together under one umbrella and one leadership for justice, equality, democracy and restoring the dignity of all the people of South Sudan

In December 2019, Major General Sebit Kong Kuon (who was their Chief of Staff) and the entire military and political leadership of the Federal Unionist Liberation Front (FULF) pledged their allegiance to NAS under the leadership of Gen Thomas Cirillo. In his letter declaring his allegiance, the general stated that he “is convinced that the R-ARCSS is a sell-out of the aspirations of the people of South Sudan for a just and sustainable peace,” and that “sustainable peace can only be achieved through addressing the root causes of the conflict in the country.”

“Our goal is to work together under one umbrella and one leadership for justice, equality, democracy and restoring the dignity of all the people of South Sudan”

The entire editorial team of the NAS official website wishes to congratulate Major General Sebit Kong Kuon for this appointment and for accepting to take the revolutionary assignment to advance the objectives of NAS.
