NAS forms political council, reconstitutes diplomatic mission to Australia

The Leadership of the National Salvation Front (NAS) has issued two orders, one on the establishment of the Salvation Council – the political council that will run the political affairs of the revolutionary struggle-, and the other order reconstituting the NAS diplomatic mission to Australia.

Both orders were issued on February 03 2021 and signed by Gen. Thomas Cirillo Swaka, the Chairman and Commander-in-Chief of the National Salvation Front (NAS).

The first order (Order No: 64/02/03.2021) is per the April 2017 Resolution of the National Salvation Front (NAS) Leadership and is also in conjunction with the February 2018 Resolutions of NAS Interim Political Committee on the structures of NAS.

The political council that will be known as The Salvation CouncilΒ will develop, oversee and run the political affairs of the revolutionary struggle that has, for the past four years, been steadfast in its struggle to restore the dignity and unity of the people of South Sudan through addressing the root causes of the conflict in the country.

The second order (Order No: 65/02/03.2021) reconstituting the NAS Diplomatic Mission to Australia named Mr Daniel Jacinto Lee (former Deputy-head of Mission) as Head of Mission with Mr Albert Paulino Aliardo as deputy-head and Dr Jada Pasquale Yengkopiong retaining his post as secretary. The NAS Mission to Australia as first established in September 2019.

Since its establishment in March 2017, the National Salvation Front (NAS) has established several diplomatic missions and appointed representatives to over 25 countries and regions across the globe where its growing membership has been actively and diligently serving and advancing the objectives of the revolutionary struggle.
