Eid al Fitr Message to the Muslims of South Sudan
Dear Fellow Citizens
On behalf of the Leadership of The National Salvation Front (NAS) and on my own behalf, I congratulate all South Sudanese Muslims in South Sudan and outside the country on the occasion of the Eid al Fitr Al Mubarak.
I convey to you my warm greetings and best wishes of peace, unity and solidarity during this Eid al Fitr Al Mubarak celebration.

This year’s Eid al Fitr, unfortunately, finds our country and the whole world under the scourge of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. ln South Sudan, the regime of Salva Kiir has failed to provide leadership in handling the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving South Sudanese to the mercy of the pandemic. This is evident in the current spread of the disease among our communities with the government unable to provide the health services and implement measures to protect the people from the pandemic.
