20250329 NAS ARMY Press Release - The Capture and Destruction of Pangoya Barracks in Lobonok

On March 29, 2025, NAS forces launched a retaliatory attack against SSPDF troops stationed at Pangoya Barracks in Lobonok County, Central Equatoria. The operation resulted in the deaths of 22 SSPDF soldiers and the capture of heavy weaponry, including an 82mm mortar, RPG-7, and multiple Kalashnikov rifles. The NAS forces burned down the barracks before withdrawing. One NAS fighter was killed, and another sustained minor injuries.
