An enemy reconnaissance mission has been effectively neutralized after a small surgical force of the National Salvation Front (NAS) ambushed and destroyed the enemy intelligence mission on Wednesday, August 19 at Kuse Pager in Lobonok County, just a few kilometers from Juba.

Wednesday 19th August 2020, at Kuse Pager, Luwala Boma, Lo’bonok County a small mobile force of NAS ambushed a reconnaissance Toyota Land Cruiser Pick-up belonging to the bodyguards of the Vice President James Wani Igga. Six (6) bodyguards of VP were killed in action and several others wounded; five (5) AK47 rifles and different quantities of ammunition captured in good condition; including the Pick-up vehicle which was later burnt down. The gallant NAS surgical force withdrew successfully to its base.

Another unprovoked attack by the joint forces of Kiir’s SSPDF and Machar’s SPLM-IO has been defeated in Kajo-Keji county, a day after Juba sent reinforcements to several fronts in preparation for more aggression on NAS forces.
Eleven (11) enemy soldiers have been killed, nine (9) AKM/47 assault riffles captured along with assorted quantities of ammunition and other equipment following a daring and successful counter-attack by the revolutionary forces of the National Salvation Front (NAS) on Wednesday, August 5 in Gorom Payam, a suburb just fifteen (15) miles from Juba the capital.

The Leadership of National Salvation Front (NAS) informs its members, supporters, the people of South Sudan and members of International Community about the latest development on the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) aggression on NAS position in and around Gorom Payam, a suburb of the capital Juba, some fifteen miles (15) the capital.
In his message congratulating Muslims and the people of South Sudan on the occasion of Eid Al Adha aAl Mubarak, the Chairman and C-in-C of the National Salvation Front (NAS) Gen Thomas Cirillo expressed solidarity with the people who found themselves victims of Kiir’s failed leadership and called on religious and community leaders to promote the culture of peaceful coexistence.
The bodies of two local businessmen have been found along Loka-Lainya after they were reportedly executed and dumped by the roadside by SSPDF operatives in the area.
