Breaking News: National Salvation Front (NAS) enacts new constitution

 

The National Salvation Front (NAS) has officially adopted its new constitution, marking a significant and historic milestone in its revolutionary struggle.

In a historic move, the Chairman and C-in-c of the National Salvation Front (NAS), Gen. Thomas Cirillo Swaka, granted his assent to the new constitution, officially adopting The Constitution of National Salvation Front (NAS) 2024 into law.

The adoption of the constitution follows a rigorous process spanning over a year, engaging various NAS structures, including the NAS Senior Leadership and the Salvation Councilβ€”the legislative body of NAS. The Salvation Council, after comprehensive deliberation, officially approved the constitution on February 23, 2024.

 

Dr. Victor Vuni Joseph, Head of the Interim Secretariat of NAS Salvation Council, highlighted that the constitution is a crucial guide for NAS in its revolutionary struggle, establishing a framework for the organization’s actions and principles.

Dr. Vuni emphasized the adaptability of the constitution, recognizing the dynamic nature of the revolutionary struggle. It allows for amendments to address changing situations over time.

The NAS Salvation Council, representing the legislative arm of NAS, played a pivotal role in the approval of this groundbreaking constitution.
