The National Salvation Front (NAS) has gathered evidence from independent investigators, family members of the deceased and other victims of a spree of recent coordinated ethnic-based war crimes targetting specific areas and communities in Central Equatoria State (CES).
Following the kidnap on Sunday, May 31 2021 of 4 locals from Gumberi village of Lainya Payam in Central Equatoria State (CES) and their subsequent murder in cold blood on Monday, June 1, the Leadership of the National Salvation Front (NAS) has yet again voiced its condemnation of the recurring barbaric war crimes by forces under Salva Kiir against innocent South Sudanese across the country in general and, more recently, specifically against innocent civilians in the Equatorias.
A force of Salva Kiir’s militia stationed in Loka West has yet again gone on a rampage committing heinous ethnic-based crimes that include murder, rape, destruction of property, theft, and looting of civilian property.
