Concerns against the Tumaini initiative continue to mount as Dr. Lam Akol’s National Democratic Movement (NDM) and Dharuai Mabor’s Party of National Unity (PNU) become the latest signatories to the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS) to express their reservations. They accuse the initiative of being exclusive and secretive and describe some prospects of the process as potentially overriding the R-ARCSS and dismantling structures it established, August 5, 2024.
