Concerns against the Tumaini initiative continue to mount as Dr. Lam Akol’s National Democratic Movement (NDM) and Dharuai Mabor’s Party of National Unity (PNU) become the latest signatories to the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS) to express their reservations. The BC also reiterated its position to have the capital city relocated from Juba to Ramciel – a plan that was resolved by the National Council of Ministers way back in September 2011.
