20250211 NAS Latest Press Release on Jalimo Encounter Kajo-Keji County

On Feb. 9, NAS forces in Kajo-Keji County successfully repelled an SSPDF attack, overrunning the Jalimo detachment base. The base had been used as an SSPDF operational hub against NAS positions. During the operation, NAS forces killed four SSPDF soldiers and seized weapons, including PKM machine guns, RPGs, and ammunition. NAS denied allegations circulating on social media that its forces burned homes and displaced civilians, instead accusing SSPDF of retaliating against local villagers. The NAS Military Command praised its forces for the successful operation.
