NAS appoints commissioners to Federal Civil Authority

 

The Chairman and Commander-in-Chief of the National Salvation Front (NAS) Gen. Thomas Cirillo Swaka has appointed 10 commissioners to lead key departments in the Federal Civil Authority.

The appointments, made under Constitutional Order No. 10/07/09/2024, aim to strengthen governance structures within NAS as part of its broader mission in South Sudan. The

A Commissioner General, Isaac Ajiba Ochang, who was appointed earlier under Constitutional Order No. 07/14/059/2024 will head these Civil Commissions as per Article 33(1) of the NAS Constitution 2024

The new commissioners are:

  • Felix Charles Ali Bilal, Commissioner for Federal Governance Affairs
  • Lado Gubek, Commissioner for International Relations
  • Daniel Lee, Commissioner for Information, Mass Communications and Cultural Affairs
  • Turjuman Ramadan, Commissioner for Legal Affairs and Human Rights
  • Bosco Otim Mario, Commissioner for Finance and Resource Mobilization
  • Robert Samson Lugga, Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs
  • Dr. Wani Lolik, Commissioner for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)
  • Vera Mahdi, Commissioner for Health
  • Dr. Lokuowe Gordon, Commissioner for Education, Social Welfare and Gender
  • Dr. Peter Pitya, Commissioner for Infrastructure and Physical Planning

The move is part of NAS’s effort to enhance governance in areas under its control and fulfill its vision for federalism, human rights, and development in South Sudan.
